Ras Nusrani (Nasrani) mean the Cape of Christians, there are many interesting diving sites. These sites are located on the southern shore of the Strait of Tiran, and can be reached by boat sailing from Sharm El Sheikh, Naama Bay or take a boat directly from the bank.
Place is located 9 miles north of Naama Bay.
The reef in Ras Nusrani is covered with soft corals and gorgonians, thereby creating large clusters with a wide variety of fish and other marine fauna. Closer to the shallows are hard corals, among which nest scorpion fish and anemones with clownfish/ nemo fish. Regular visitors to Ras Nusrani are turtles, moray eels, barracudas. You may also encounter dangerous lionfish.
The reef is a very good place to observe Tridacna clams. Conditions in the area are relatively good, but you need to watch out for strong currents around the cape.
To the east of the cape there is another dive site called the White Knights. The reef wall drops to the sandy plateau at a depth of about 13 meters, in the center there is a gorge through which you can pass. You can meet trigger fish, groupers and manta rays. The average depth of the reef is 20 meters, first go down the seven meter high wall, which gradually turns into a sandy slope with large boulders, where you can find clusters of coral. This place is recommended because of the flying manta rays there.
The place is reachable both by land and boat. Reef drops with shallow coves in the wall with a depth of over 60 meters. There are very many overhangs and caves. Best dive takes place between the great pillars of corals in shallower areas. It is a very good place to meet on the sandy bottom of a Spanish dancer.
