Diving in Bells. The famous underwater cave- dive site called Bells is located approximately 200 meters from the Blue Hole. On the way we pass the rock with arrays memory of the people who died in the Blue Hole. There are two theories why the cave is called Bells.
The first theory is that the name comes from the shape-caves like a long bell. The second is more likely. The cave is narrow, space enough for one diver. Often the bottle hits the rock, and you hear the sound of bells under water. It is a good place for novice divers (OWD) and advanced. Just cave consists of two parts. The first output is at a depth of about 20 - 22 meters.
In the second part of the cave diving head down and emerge at a depth of 32 - 33 meters. Below us 500 meters reef wall - you need to be very well mastered buoyancy and control the depth, so as not to fall below the limits of no-deco and nitrogen narcosis. In this way, divers die in the Blue Hole. In fact, everywhere in Dahab you need to have a computer- most dives to dive deep.
After leaving the cave, we head to the right, toward the Blue Hole. A typical multi-level diving-emergence sequence for 25, 15 meters to the saddle Blue Hole at a depth of 7 meters. The diving is necessary to take the shoes- the entrance to the cave on the reef.
