In Shaab Rur reef You can meet the mighty Napoleon and grouper, small caves and coral chimneys. Wreck and drift diving.
Shaab Rur lies southwest of the island of Um Gamar, a quarter of Carless Reef cruise. Eastern shore is steep and deep, south sloping reef to a depth of 19 meters. Anchors are usually on the south side, it is better protected from the wind. He descends to the north, an underwater plateau-there are the remains of an old wooden boat patrol. Well maintained engine is at 24 meters. Here you can find here the great Napoleon (a characteristic-cleft lip) and a big grouper. Both fish are not afraid to dive and swim really close. On the cliff corals and gorgonians find-a good place for underwater photography.
In the south you can see damaged coral rubble. This excursion boats wreck is there. In the area of caves live many glassfish.
North-western part of the reef is available when there is no wind. On the cliff, at a depth of 26 meters we find a gap in the reef-crash site. The wreck sank to a depth of approx. 100 meters. At a depth of about 50 meters is a huge propeller.
