Technique of deep diving. Are the deep dives more dangerous? Yes-because we are higher water pressure, influence of gas laws (physics) and worse conditions.
Specific conditions of the deep dives require proper technique- compliance with important principles.
Contact partner- doubled control of key parameters, like dive time, depth, quantity of air and partners condition.
Buoyancy- control and proper weight balancing, increased capacity BCD (additional equipment for deep diving). Uncontrolled ascent from greater depths is very dangerous. In such a situation helps to empty the BCD, partner helps or even an emergency distribution of arms and legs (decreased speed of ascent).
Appropriate slow ascent. We control and plan to dive using the RDP tables and dive computer, use digital as a control measure. It should prepare a draft of a rope or perform at the bottom (reference point).
Frequent checks of the air-supply at great depths and under stress, we use the air much faster. At a depth of 30 meters in the air we consume twice as fast as at 10 meters.
We take only proven equipment. Proven in shallow dives.
We follow proper ascent. Always perform a safety stop.
Most divers are symptoms of nitrogen narcosis at depths of 25 - 30 meters. Emerges from a partner to a shallower depth to narcosis symptoms subsided. Should not be repeated dives on the same day.
And most importantly, in recreational diving so we plan to have a margin of safety. Recreational scuba diving always is no deco.
